Text Messages

This page describes the Meal Fame SMS program: what we send, how you say yes, and how you make it stop.

How you opt in

You give us your mobile number directly in the Meal Fame web app, for example when you claim a meal delivery slot or create a meal train. At that moment you will see two separate, unchecked consent choices:

Each choice is independent. We record your consent (language shown, timestamp) for each one. We never opt you in by default, and we never text numbers given to us by someone else for marketing.

What the messages look like

Coordination example: "Meal Fame: Reminder! You're bringing dinner to the Henderson family tomorrow (Thu) between 4:30-6:00 PM. Tap to view details or reschedule: [link] Reply STOP to opt out."

Appreciation example: "Meal Fame: Sarah sent you a thank-you note for Thursday's dinner. See it here: [link] Reply STOP to opt out."

Frequency, rates, opt-out

Message frequency varies with your meal train activity; coordination texts typically amount to a few messages per claimed meal. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of using Meal Fame.

Reply STOP to any message to cancel that program. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@mealfame.com. Opt-outs are honored immediately.

Privacy

Phone numbers and consent records are used only to send the messages you asked for and to honor opt-outs. We do not sell or share your number for others' marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Meal Fame is pre-launch. This page documents the program as it will operate at launch and serves as the program description for carrier registration.
