Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 12, 2026. This policy covers the Meal Fame website and messaging program. As Meal Fame grows, we will expand this policy, with notice.

What we collect

This website collects almost nothing. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information. If you email us at hello@mealfame.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply to you and, if you asked, to tell you when Meal Fame launches.

If you join the launch list on our homepage, we collect the name and contact details you choose to enter, along with a record of each consent you gave (the exact language you saw, a timestamp, and your IP address). We use that information for one purpose: to tell you when Meal Fame is ready, by the channels you checked. Email consent and text consent are separate choices, neither is checked by default, and you can ask us to remove you anytime at hello@mealfame.com.

Text messages

Meal Fame texts only people who give us their number directly and agree to receive texts, with separate consent for coordination messages and optional appreciation messages. Full details, including opt-out, are on our Text Messages page. Phone numbers and consent records are used to send the messages you asked for and to honor opt-outs, and for no other purpose. We do not sell or share phone numbers for marketing by others.

As Meal Fame grows

Meal train features involve information like meal preferences, allergy notes, delivery windows, and delivery addresses, provided by the people organizing and receiving meal trains. As those features reach you, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected, how it is protected (delivery addresses, for example, are never shown to meal senders), how long it is kept, and how to delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@mealfame.com. We honor opt-outs immediately. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor verified requests consistent with those laws.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
